Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has revealed that he thinks midfielder Jordan Henderson has made a "good contribution" to the team in the past four weeks.
The former Sunderland player scored Liverpool's winning goal in their 1-0 victory over Udinese as they qualified for the knockout stages of the Europa League and Rodgers is delighted with the 22-year-old's recent performances.
Rodgers told reporters: "He is a great lad and works hard and has come in over the last month and made a good contribution to the team.
"It was a very good finish and he was unfortunate not to get a second goal as the goalkeeper made a wonderful save.
"He has that quality to arrive in the box and he has a finish in him so I am delighted for him and his hard work is paying off."
Thursday's goal was just Henderson's third in 65 appearances in a Liverpool shirt.
