Liverpool have been forced to stay an extra night in Italy following their Europa League win over Udinese due to a fault with their aeroplane.
The Reds were scheduled to return on Thursday evening after a 1-0 victory at the Stadio Friuli saw them book their place in the last 32 of the competition.
However, a failure with the left engine has meant that Brendan Rodgers and his players will not come back to their Melwood training base until Friday.
Liverpool are next in action at West Ham United in the Premier League on Sunday.
