Sports Mole rounds up the latest transfer news and rumours, including Jaden Philogene to Ipswich, Enzo Le Fee to Sunderland and Diego Carlos to Fenerbahce.

Ipswich Town have reportedly agreed a deal with fellow Premier League club Aston Villa to sign winger Jaden Philogene.

The 22-year-old returned to Villa Park last summer after a buy-back clause in his contract at Championship club Hull City - where he recorded 12 goals and six assists in 32 games last season - was activated.

Philogene was hoping to feature regularly under Unai Emery this term, but he has been restricted to just four starts and 11 substitute outings in all competitions.

Ipswich missed out on signing Philogene last summer, but journalist Fabrizio Romano claims that the Tractor Boys have now agreed to sign the winger on a permanent deal for around £22m.

Everton and a host of European clubs were also keen to sign the England Under-21 international, but he has decided to make the move to Portman Road.

Philogene is due to undergo a medical and could soon become Kieran McKenna's second signing of the January transfer window after defender Ben Godfrey, who has joined on loan from Atalanta BC.

Carlos wanted by Mourinho's Fenerbahce?

Staying with Aston Villa and centre-back Diego Carlos is reportedly attracting interest from Turkish giants Fenerbahce.

The 31-year-old joined the Lions in the summer of 2022 from Sevilla for around £26m and has since made a total of 58 appearances across all competitions.

However, Carlos has only started eight of Villa's 20 Premier League games this season, with both Pau Torres and Ezri Konsa preferred in the centre of Emery's defence.

Carlos has subsequently been tipped to seek pastures new and the Daily Mail claims that Fenerbahce are increasingly confident of reaching an agreement with Villa to sign the defender.

Jose Mourinho's side are said to be hoping to finalise a deal worth around £10m for Carlos, who has 18 months remaining on his contract at Villa Park.

Le Bris to reunite with Le Fee at Sunderland?

Elsewhere, Championship promotion hopefuls Sunderland have reportedly agreed a deal to sign Enzo Le Fee from Roma.

The 24-year-old has been tipped to leave the Serie A club having started just six games in all tournaments since his €23m transfer from Rennes last summer.

Journalist Fabrizio Romano claims that Sunderland are now finalising a loan move for Le Fee and the deal includes an option to buy that will become mandatory if the Black Cats are promoted to the Premier League.

Sunderland manager Regis Le Bris, who worked with Le Fee during his time in charge of Lorient, is said to have been 'crucial' in persuading the midfielder to make the move to the Stadium of Light.

Sitting fourth in the Championship table, Sunderland have won 14 of their 26 matches this season and are only three points behind league leaders Leeds United.
