Dirk Kuyt wants to rejoin Dutch side Feyenoord, according to his close friend and former teammate Salomon Kalou.
The Netherlands international has a clause in his Liverpool contract that enables him to join a foreign club for just £1m, and Kalou has tipped him for a return home.
"Dirk told me he wants to return now," Kalou said on Dutch television show Nieuwsuur. "Dirk said to me that I also must come, that we both have to return to Feyenoord."
Kuyt, who joined Liverpool from Feyenoord in 2006, has scored 51 goals during his time at Anfield.
The forward has been capped 85 times for the Netherlands.
