Liverpool are reportedly prepared to convince Dirk Kuyt and Maxi Rodriguez to stay at Anfield, despite reports linking the pair with summer exits.
It is understood that the duo were expected to leave Merseyside at the end of the season but with the Reds keen to add depth to the squad, it is believed that both players could remain at the Premier League outfit, according to The Express.
Dutch international Kuyt has been widely tipped to make the move out of Liverpool due to the lack of first-team football being offered to the 31-year-old.
The forward, who reportedly has a £1m release clause in his contract, has recently been linked with a switch to Hamburg.
