Jose Enrique: 'Martin Skrtel feels bad after blunder'

Jose Enrique insists that Liverpool have "already forgotten" about Martin Skrtel's blunder, which relinquished three points for the Reds against Manchester City in a 2-2 draw.

Liverpool full-back Jose Enrique has insisted that he and his teammates have "already forgotten" about Martin Skrtel's defensive error that lost them three points against Manchester City at the weekend.

Carlos Tevez salvaged a 2-2 draw at Anfield for the Premier League champions after Skrtel's misplaced pass to goalkeeper Pepe Reina allowed the Argentina international to latch onto the ball and hit the back of the net to mark his 100th Premier League goal.

"Martin feels bad, like anyone would when you make an error like that," Enrique told the Liverpool Echo. "But Martin is one of the best centre-backs in the country.

"Anyone can make a mistake. We have already forgotten about that and are focusing on the next game. It's in the past and now we have to think about the big games in the future."

The Reds take on Arsenal on home turf this Sunday.
