Liverpool defender Jose Enrique believes that the club will be able to compete in all competitions next season.

Jose Enrique has said that he expects Liverpool to be able to compete in every competition next season.

Liverpool finished seventh in the Premier League table, while dropping out of the FA and League Cups in the fourth round.

The Spanish defender told the club's website: "I think we already have a great squad and a great manager as well, who likes to play football. And I think with this manager and some new players, next year we can fight for everything.

"We have played against the big teams this year and we have played well. So with a few more players and a bigger squad, we can do even better."

Enrique made 29 league appearances for Liverpool last season.
