Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish wants his players to be more clinical in front of goal.

Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish hopes that his side can be more clinical in front of goal after their recent defeat to Manchester City.

Despite losing at the Etihad Stadium on Monday, the Reds had more opportunities on goal.

"I think it was a good learning opportunity for us," said Dalglish.

"It only reflects the importance of being clinical - and they were clinical. If we want to get to where everyone wants to take the club then we have to be clinical."

Liverpool host Oldham Athletic in the third round of the FA Cup tomorrow evening.
