Mino Raiola: 'Not too late for Mario Balotelli'

Mario Balotelli's agent Mino Raiola insists that it is not too late for the Liverpool striker to salvage his career.

The agent of Mario Balotelli has insisted that it is not too late for the Liverpool striker to salvage his career.

The 25-year-old has seen his progress stall in recent seasons and is currently looking for a new club having been told that he is surplus to requirements by Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp.

Balotelli spent last season on loan at AC Milan, who turned down the option to make the move permanent, but Mino Raiola believes that the Italy international still has a bright future in the game.

"In life it's never too late. If you think Mario makes me despair, you're wrong because his life has improved a lot and now he just needs the right opportunity," he told Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

"Where will he go? I'm saying nothing. Let's see what happens. I won't close the door on any solution. That goes for Mario and all my players. I listen to what is offered to me and then I decide along with them."

Balotelli has recently been linked with a return to Inter Milan, where he would reunite with former Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini.
