Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest news on possible comings and goings from Anfield.

Friday morning's Liverpool transfer talk news roundup:

Liverpool 'outbid Real Madrid for David Alaba with £9m-a-year contract'

Liverpool have reportedly offered David Alaba a £9m-a-year contract as the English champions look to win the race for the Bayern Munich defender.

Alaba's deal at the Allianz Arena is due to expire in June, and as it stands, the Austria international will leave the German champions on a free transfer.

Real Madrid are believed to be at the head of the queue for the 28-year-old, who has made 19 appearances for Bayern during the 2020-21 campaign.

However, according to Italian journalist Romeo Agresti, Liverpool have offered the centre-back a contract worth £9m a year to turn down Los Blancos and make the move to Anfield.

The Reds have had serious injury problems at the back in the first half of the 2020-21 campaign, with Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Joel Matip all currently on the sidelines.

Alaba has made over 400 appearances for Bayern since debuting in 2010.

Liverpool 'lining up package deal for Kylian Mbappe'

Liverpool are reportedly giving serious consideration to launching a bid for Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe.

Despite having recently won the Champions League and Premier League, it has been suggested that the Merseyside giants cannot afford the World Cup winner.

PSG are currently attempting to extend the contract of the France international, who has just over 18 months remaining on his contract.

However, according to AS, Liverpool are in a strong position when it comes to making an approach for the 22-year-old.

The report suggests that the start of the club's sponsorship deal with Nike later this year will provide them with the funds required to get a deal over the line.

Despite long-term interest from Real Madrid, Mbappe is also said to be open to a switch to the Premier League.
