Borussia Dortmund and Liverpool have both been charged by UEFA over offences committed by supporters during their Europa League quarter-final first leg last night.
UEFA confirmed this afternoon that disciplinary proceedings have been opened against both clubs in relation to the conduct of their fans.
Dortmund have been charged with stairways being blocked, while Liverpool face a charge in relation to their supporters letting off fireworks at Westfalenstadion.
Liverpool, who impressed in a 1-1 draw last night, already face charges of illicit chanting, setting off fireworks and throwing objects by their fans from the second leg of the previous round against Manchester United.
The cases will not be dealt with by UEFA's control, ethics and disciplinary body until May 19, the day after the Europa League final.
