Leicester City have plotted to make a £20m move for Monaco winger Sofiane Diop in the upcoming transfer window, according to a report.
The 21-year-old enjoyed a productive 2021-22 campaign with the Ligue 1 outfit, scoring eight goals and registering five assists in 41 appearances for the club across all competitions.
The winger's form helped his side to win nine and draw one of their final 10 games of the season, helping them to secure qualification for the 2022-23 Champions League courtesy of a third-placed finish.
However, Diop could well be on the move to the Premier League this summer, with The Sun reporting that Brendan Rodgers's side are interested in acquiring his signature over the coming weeks.
The report claims that Diop is available for around £20m, with the Foxes on the lookout for a right-sided forward this summer to compliment the likes of Harvey Barnes on the left wing.
After breaking into the first team at Monaco in the 2018-19 campaign, following his free transfer move from Rennes, Diop has gone on to make 71 appearances for the club across all competitions, whilst making numerous appearances at various youth levels for the France national team.
