Leeds United and Aston Villa have reportedly identified Newcastle United goalkeeper Karl Darlow as a potential signing.
The two Championship clubs are both looking to secure promotion to the Premier League, although the English giants are searching for new additions between the sticks.
Leeds require experienced cover for Bailey Peacock-Farrell after Chelsea loanee Jamal Blackman suffered a season-ending injury, while Orjan Nyland has not made a huge impact since his arrival at Villa in the summer.
Burnley goalkeeper Tom Heaton has been linked with a switch to either Elland Road or Villa Park but according to The Sun, Darlow is also on their radar.
The Magpies goalkeeper is currently sidelined through injury, but the 28-year-old had already lost his place in the side to Martin Dubravka.
Darlow still has just over 18 months remaining on his contract, although Newcastle are well stocked for goalkeepers and could potentially consider a sale.
