Leeds United midfielder Kalvin Phillips reportedly suffered a head injury following an accident at the club's Christmas party on Monday.
The 25-year-old joined his teammates at Cirque Le Soir, a popular nightclub in London, after their 2-1 defeat away against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.
Head coach Marcelo Bielsa allowed his players and staff to attend a social event in the capital ahead of a busy winter schedule, which includes eight Premier League games in 33 days before the end of the year.
According to the Daily Telegraph, Phillips suffered 'a graze that caused a cut' which required treatment, after he slipped down a flight of stairs.
Despite the minor injury sustained, the midfielder was passed fit to train on Tuesday and should be in contention to feature on Saturday in their Premier League clash at home against Brighton & Hove Albion.
Phillips has played the full 90 minutes in nine league matches so far this season for Leeds, who are currently sitting just one place and two points above the relegation zone.
