Juventus have made an improved offer for Mario Lemina, according to reports.
A reported loan offer with an option to buy for €11m (£7.9m) was rejected by Marseille but according to L'Equipe, Juventus are believed to have returned with an improved bid of a straight transfer for the 21-year-old.
The player's agent revealed yesterday that the Frenchman only had one Serie A side interested in him.
He told Milanosportiva.com: "To date Juventus are the only Italian team who are in serious negotiations for him."
The Italian champions have been looking to strengthen their midfield after the sale of Arturo Vidal and the release of Andrea Pirlo.
Lemina made 23 appearances in Ligue 1 last season, scoring two goals.
