Massimiliano Allegri: 'Simone Zaza staying at Juventus'

Reported Crystal Palace target Simone Zaza will not be leaving Juventus before the end of the transfer window, according to Juventus head coach Massimiliano Allegri.

Juventus head coach Massimiliano Allegri has insisted that Simone Zaza will not depart the Italian champions this month.

The striker has recently been linked with a host of clubs, including Premier League outfit Crystal Palace.

However, Allegri has claimed that there is no reason for the 24-year-old to move on, despite the fact that he has made just three Serie A starts this season.

"I don't understand why he should go away, there should not be this storm about him," Allegri told reporters.

"I speak to him every day. He is a player with great quality who has improved a lot and is important for us, so it's fair that he stays here. We have four top quality players in attack and they should fight for their places."

Zaza joined the Old Lady from Sassuolo for a fee in the region of £10m last summer.
