Juventus captain Giorgio Chiellini has tipped Paulo Dybala to shine for the Old Lady this season, following the summer departure of Cristiano Ronaldo.
Ronaldo left for Manchester United after registering 101 goals and 22 assists in 134 appearances for The Old Lady, and the Turin outfit have picked up just one point from the opening three games of the new Serie A season.
However, the legendary Italian defender has backed his side to bounce back from the loss, predicting the 27-year-old forward to thrive in the coming season.
As quoted by the Daily Mail, Chiellini said: "We must be grateful to Cristiano for all he did during these years at Juventus, but we carry on," before going on to add: "This will be Paulo Dybala's team. Over the last couple of years, he lowered his average goals because of Cristiano's presence, but he is a key player for this team and that is recognised by everyone."
Returning manager Massimiliano Allegri was without the Argentinian forward for Saturday's trip to Napoli, after he had been in action in the international break, and Alvaro Morata led the line in his absence, scoring an early goal before the Turin outfit eventually fell to a 2-1 defeat.
The Old Lady return to action on Tuesday with a Champions League clash against Malmo, and Dybala is reportedly set to rejoin the squad.
