Defender Giorgio Chiellini has told Inter Milan that Juventus have no intention of surrendering their Serie A title without a fight.
The Nerazzurri extended their 100% start to the season on Sunday as Mauro Icardi's 42nd-minute winner was enough to down Chievo Verona and give them a fourth straight win.
Roberto Mancini's side sit eight points clear of the Bianconeri, who won 2-0 at Genoa to pick up their first victory so far, and Chiellini warns that nothing is won in September.
"This win will add to our growing confidence and we'll see where we are come May," Chiellini told the official Juventus website.
"Inter lead the way at the moment but the league doesn't finish in September. That tenacious streak has never left this side, it's still there for all to see.
"We'll take each game as it comes. After this week we have plenty of belief going forward for the rest of the campaign."
Juve have won the Scudetto every year for the past four seasons.
