Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba has been ruled out for around seven weeks with a hamstring injury, the club have confirmed.
The 22-year-old has been a key part of the Bianconeri's side as they lead the Serie A table by 14 points while also reaching the quarter-finals of the Champions League.
Pogba limped off on Wednesday night as Massimiliano Allegri's men beat Borussia Dortmund 3-0 in their last-16 second leg clash.
A statement on the Juve website read: "Paul Pogba, who was brought off during the first half of Dortmund-Juventus, has been medically examined.
"Magnetic resonance imaging confirmed the initial suspicion of a second-degree injury to Pogba's right hamstring. The recovery schedule for the midfielder is due to take 50 days."
If the club timeline is accurate, the French international should be fit to feature in the second leg of the Champions League semi-finals should the Old Lady reach the last four.
