Juventus midfielder Andrea Pirlo will miss the second leg of his side's Champions League last-16 clash against Borussia Dortmund due to a calf injury.
The 35-year-old has not featured for Juve since he suffered the problem during the first leg in Turin three weeks ago.
The Italian champions travel to Signal Iduna Park with a slender 2-1 advantage in the tie.
"Andrea Pirlo: the ultrasound scan showed a good evolution to the healing of the wound, but not enough to make him available for the trip to Dortmund," read an official club statement. "The midfielder will therefore continue his rehabilitation program."
Pirlo has scored four goals in 22 games for Juventus so far this season.
