Ipswich Town manager Mick McCarthy has reportedly made Dusan Pernis one of his transfer targets this summer.
McCarthy has been in the market for a goalkeeper and had hoped to sign Stephen Henderson from West Ham United.
However, despite the fact that the 25-year-old has had two recent loan spells at Portman Road, a permanent deal fell through.
That has forced McCarthy to seek alternatives and he has since identified Pernis, who is a free agent following his release from Polish side Pogon Szczecin, according to The People.
The 28-year-old, who previously had a two-year stint with Dundee United that came to an end in 2012, is also believed to be of interest to Scottish Premier League side Aberdeen.
