Mick McCarthy pleased with Ipswich Town draw

Ipswich Town manager Mick McCarthy is pleased with his side's all-round performance away to Sheffield Wednesday.

Ipswich Town boss Mick McCarthy was happy with his side's performance in earning a point against Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough on Saturday.

Paul Anderson had put the Tractor Boys ahead early on, but Michail Antonio levelled for the Owls a minute later.

He told the club's official website: "We were excellent in the first half and had to show a different side to our game in the second-half in terms of defending.

"It's been a good week. Two away games and points to show from both. It could have been more but that's football."

Ipswich are now 12th in the Championship table, but without an away win.
