Half-Time Report: Sheffield Wednesday, Ipswich Town level at the break

Sheffield Wednesday are on level terms with Ipswich Town at half time thanks to Michail Antonio's goal.

Sheffield Wednesday fought back quickly after going behind to Ipswich Town to go in at half time level with the Suffolk club.

Ipswich started well when Ryan Tunnicliffe hooked the ball towards David McGoldrick, who set up winger Paul Anderson to put this visitors in front after 12 minutes.

However, they were quickly pegged back thanks to Michail Antonio who bundled the ball home after Atdhe Nuhiu's header.

The visitors nearly retook the lead midway through the first period when midfielder Cole Skuse smashed a half-volley past Chris Kirkland, but his effort came back off the inside of the post.

Wednesday almost edged in front before half time when Matty Fryatt was put through on goal, but saw his shot tipped over by Ipswich keeper Dean Gerken.

Wednesday are still looking for their first win of the season and with good reason, having started the game in the bottom three after Bolton Wanderers won at Birmingham City earlier on Saturday.
