Andrea Stramaccioni has admitted that he is not sure if he will be kept on as the Inter Milan coach beyond the end of the season.

However, the Italian tactician insists that his future does not depend on whether his side can defeat Roma in the Coppa Italia semi-final second leg at the San Siro on Wednesday.

"There's no point judging the work of the coach and team at this stage, everyone can have their say later," he told reporters on Tuesday.

"Then we'll see where we are, but I don't think my future will be decided by tomorrow, but by what I've done over the course of a year. Although tomorrow's match is very important, I don't think it will make or break the coach's future or other issues.

"The president [Massimo Moratti] will give his verdict at the end, not based on Inter versus Roma, but on the season as a whole. It's too soon to start making judgements, or to talk about the future, on the eve of such an important match."

Roma won the first leg 2-1 at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome.
