Inter Milan coach Andrea Stramaccioni has admitted that Roma deserved to beat his side in the Coppa Italia semi-finals on Wednesday.
A 3-2 win for the Giallorossi at the San Siro saw them through to the final of the competition with a 5-3 aggregate triumph.
"I will say over the two legs that Roma deserved to reach the final, so I compliment them and also compliment my players for giving their all," Stramaccioni told Rai Sport.
"I thank the fans, who understood the situation and supported us to the end."
Roma will meet local rivals Lazio in the final at the Stadio Olimpico on May 26.
