Hull City have announced that they have completed the signing of PSV Eindhoven defender Jordy de Wijs.
The Dutchman came through the academy at PSV but after failing to establish himself in the first team, the last 18 months of his career have been spent on loan at Excelsior.
A total of 34 outings were made in the Eredivisie but PSV have decided to cash in on the 23-year-old, who has moved to the KCOM Stadium for an undisclosed fee.
De Wijs told the club's official website: "This is a big step for me and I'm happy to be a Hull City player.
"Playing in England has always been one of my ambitions and this is the right time for me to make this step. I am really excited to be here and I want to give everything for this team."
De Wijs joins Eric Lichaj, Reece Burke and David Milinkovic in making the switch to the Tigers.
