Oscar Gobern: 'We controlled game from start to finish'

Oscar Gobern praises his Huddersfield Town teammates for showing the energy needed to hold Reading to a draw.

Huddersfield Town midfielder Oscar Gobern has praised his teammates for showing the energy needed to hold Reading to a 1-1 draw at the Madejski Stadium.

The Terriers took an early lead through Nakhi Wells, before Pavel Pogbrenyak levelled the scoring after seven minutes for the playoff chasers.

The result comes on the back of Huddersfield's 2-2 draw against Middlesbrough last time out.

"We've come away from home to play a top six team and I thought we controlled the game from start to finish," Gobern told reporters following the game.

"There's no problem with motivation; we don't want to get stuck in midtable. We're still trying to push as high as we can.

"The manager wants us to show energy, because as of late we've perhaps looked a bit lacklustre. In the last 2 games we've shown that energy."

Huddersfield remain 16th in the Championship table following the result.
