Lucas Alcaraz quiet on Dani Benitez

Granada coach Lucas Alcaraz refuses to comment on the situation regarding Dani Benitez, who allegedly recently tested positive for cocaine.

Granada coach Lucas Alcaraz has refused to comment on the situation regarding Dani Benitez.

The 26-year-old, who has been on loan from Udinese since 2009, is facing a lengthy ban after allegedly recently testing positive for cocaine.

Marca have claimed that Granada will send the midfielder back to his parent club, who could sack Benitez for his conduct.

"I've nothing more to add than what was said by the club," Alcaraz told reporters. "We have to put this aside for the match on Monday. It's not a nice issue."

Benitez has made nine appearances for his Spanish club this season.
