Go Ahead Eagles pick up first Eredivisie point of season

Dordecht and Go Ahead Eagles play out a goalless Eredivisie draw, with neither side able to find a way through as GAE claim their first point of the season.

Go Ahead Eagles have registered their first Eredivisie point of the season with a goalless draw against Dordrecht at Adelaarshorst.

Joris van Overeem worked his way through the home side's defence early on, but his effort at the end of the run was struck well over the target.

Jeffrey Fortes also tried his luck from range, although, much like his teammate before him, the strike failed to test the Go Ahead keeper.

The second half continued in much the same way, with Marnix Kolder getting a shot away, yet once more it sailed over the crossbar.

Kolder was involved again late on, but he headed wide with the game ending goalless.
