Premier League strugglers Fulham have recalled defender Jack Grimmer from his loan spell at League One side Port Vale having activated a clause in his deal.
Grimmer originally joined Vale in January, before extending his stay to the end of the season in February. However, defensive injuries at his parent club have meant that he could be needed in the first-team squad for their battle against the drop.
"Jack has been a pleasure to work with and I'm sure if he continues to learn he will have a big future in the game and we wish him all the best on his return to Fulham," Vale boss Micky Adams told Fulham's official website.
Grimmer, who scored one goal in 14 league appearances for Port Vale, could go into the squad for Sunday's clash with Everton.
