Kit Symons hopes to pull away from relegation zone in the next four games

Fulham can pull away from the Championship relegation zone in the next four games, manager Kit Symons insists following their 2-1 home defeat to Ipswich Town.

Fulham manager Kit Symons has said that the next four games are crucial to shaping his side's season as they look to avoid a relegation scrap.

The West London side lost 2-1 at home to Ipswich Town, a result which leaves them 19th in the Championship table, after Darryl Murphy scored a first-half brace for the Tractor Boys.

Symons told the club's official website: "We've always been closer to the bottom than the top at any stage since I've taken over. But we were rock bottom when I first took over, but we need to do better, we know that, and we will do.

"To stay away from it is all linked in to the next three or four results really. Things can happen very, very quickly. It's one of them; we get a few positive results and we're mid-table but get a couple of poor results and you're right in it."

Fulham travel across London to face fellow strugglers Millwall next week.
