Philippe Senderos expects a tough test against Charlton in the FA Cup.

Fulham defender Philippe Senderos has said that he expects a difficult test when Charlton travel to Craven Cottage this weekend.

The Switzerland international, who started in Fulham's 5-0 home defeat to Manchester United last month, is eager to maintain the club's recent run of form across competitions following their 2-1 win over Arsenal earlier this week.

"I think the character of the team showed in the game against Arsenal and this week has been a good week," he told the club's official website.

"Charlton are certainly a team on the rise. They're top of League One and we know they're a team that belongs in the Championship or the Premier League.

"They have a lot of quality and we won't be taking them lightly, especially in an FA Cup game. We're going to have to put a good shift in to get a result on Saturday."

Fulham return to Premier League action against bottom-of-the-league Blackburn in a week's time.
