Report: Martin Jol wants Rene Meulensteen at Fulham

Martin Jol reportedly wants former Manchester United first-team coach Rene Meulensteen to join his coaching staff at Fulham.

Fulham manager Martin Jol reportedly wants Rene Meulensteen to join his backroom staff at Craven Cottage.

Meulensteen has been out of work since David Moyes brought in his own coaching staff upon his arrival at Manchester United in the summer.

However, Jol wants the Dutchman to join his ranks, and talks are understood to have been held between the former Red Devils coach and the club's owner Shahid Khan, according to The People.

Jol's side overcame Stoke City 1-0 on Saturday.
