Martin Jol has admitted that Fulham's first victory since the opening day of the season has eased some pressure on him after his side advanced to the last 16 of the Capital One Cup.
Darren Bent and Dimitar Berbatov were on the scoresheet for the West London outfit as they secured a come-from-behind win over Everton in their third-round tie at Craven Cottage.
"It's a big relief," Jol told reporters. "It was a long time ago since our last win against Sunderland, and today we wanted to get back to winning ways.
"The goal they scored was a hammer blow, everyone was thinking 'there we go again'.
"It has not been easy, but in the second half with Berbatov and Bent there was enough goals and if there is enough goals we can win."
The result was Fulham's first victory at Craven Cottage in six attempts.
