Sunday's Nations League predictions including Netherlands vs. Belgium

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Nations League fixtures, including Netherlands vs. Belgium.

Andorra vs. Latvia (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Within touching distance of promotion in the UEFA Nations League, Latvia conclude their campaign with a trip to Andorra on Sunday.

Despite defeat on Thursday night, the visitors are two point clear at the top of League D Group 1, while their hosts have nothing but pride left to play for.

We say: Andorra 0-2 Latvia

After a brief blip, normal service should be resumed for Latvia, who are set to secure their spot in League C with a win in Andorra. They have scored goals at an average of just over two per game in this Nations League campaign, so can continue that rate on the final day.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Moldova vs. Liechtenstein (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Still in with a chance of promotion from the UEFA Nations League's bottom rung, Moldova must beat lowly Liechtenstein on Sunday and have some help from elsewhere.

Following up their midweek win over League D Group 1 leaders Latvia with three more points would see the hosts finish first if the Latvians slip up in Andorra, while the pointless visitors are already consigned to last place.

We say: Moldova 2-0 Liechtenstein

With little goal threat to worry about from toothless Liechtenstein, the path is clear for Moldova to repeat the same scoreline that brought maximum points from the reverse fixture. Though that may not be enough to secure promotion, sealing second spot with four wins from six would still be commendable.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Slovakia vs. Belarus (Sunday, 5.00pm)

Slovakia host Belarus in Group K of the UEFA Nations League on Sunday.

There is little importance attached to the fixture, with the visitors already relegated and the hosts unable to claim top spot.

We say: Slovakia 2-0 Belarus

We expect Slovakia to earn their first win of the Calzona era, but it is unlikely to be pretty.

Belarus will not want to go down without a fight, and they are rarely heavily beaten despite their poor form of late.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Azerbaijan vs. Kazakhstan (Sunday, 5.00pm)

Kazakhstan head into their UEFA Nations League fixture with Azerbaijan on Sunday evening having already secured promotion to the second tier for the first time in their history.

While qualification is out of Azerbaijan's reach, the home side will be motivated to try to earn the win which would see them secure second position in Group C4.

We say: Azerbaijan 1-1 Kazakhstan

With the stakes having lowered for Kazakhstan, they may not perform with the same kind of intensity. With that in mind, we can only predict a low-scoring draw between two teams who have secured results above their expectations during this campaign.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Austria vs. Croatia (Sunday, 7.45pm)

Croatia manager Zlatko Dalic pictured in April 2022© Reuters

First meets fourth on the final matchday of League A Group 1 in the 2022-23 UEFA Nations League as Austria welcome group leaders Croatia to Vienna on Sunday evening.

Zlatko Dalic's side are aiming to progress to the Nations League finals with victory, while nothing less than three points will do for Das Team if they are to remain in the top division.

We say: Austria 0-2 Croatia

With two integral cogs in Alaba and Arnautovic potentially sitting this one out - or thrown into the action when not fully fit - the writing may be on the wall for an Austria side already lacking in confidence.

Croatia may have been humbled by Das Team only three months ago, but the Chequered Ones have upped their defensive game and should seal a spot in the Finals while simultaneously condemning Austria to life back in League B.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Denmark vs. France (Sunday, 7.45pm)

On the final matchday of League A Group 1 in the UEFA Nations League, a Denmark side gunning for the Finals will welcome a France outfit determined to avoid demotion to League B.

Kasper Hjulmand's men went down 2-1 to Croatia last time out, while Les Bleus got the better of Austria 2-0 ahead of their trip to Copenhagen on Sunday.

We say: Denmark 0-1 France

If Thursday night's performance is anything to go by, France appear to have consigned their summer struggles to history and remain packed with strong defensive options amid their ever-growing injury crisis.

An in-form Eriksen is always capable of making things happen for Denmark, who have fond memories of their most recent meeting with Les Bleus, but Deschamps's staunch defence should come to the fore as the Mbappe-Giroud combination work their magic to ensure that their nation will remain in League A - ending the hosts' hopes of glory in the process.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Netherlands vs. Belgium (Sunday, 7.45pm)

Netherlands only require a point against Belgium on Sunday to top Group D and progress to the UEFA Nations League finals.

Due to head-to-head rules being used in the Nations League, Belgium must score four goals in Amsterdam after suffering a 4-1 loss to their neighbours in June.

We say: Netherlands 2-2 Belgium

With Belgium having to go for a big win in order to progress to the next stage of the Nations League, we can envisage an open, entertaining clash in Amsterdam on Sunday.

Both teams to score has landed in 80% of both nations' matches during the current campaign, so it would be a surprise if either goalkeeper kept a clean sheet, but Netherlands should do enough to retain top spot in Group D.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Wales vs. Poland (Sunday, 7.45pm)

Wales play host to Poland in the UEFA Nations League on Sunday evening knowing that only a win will do if they want to avoid relegation to League B.

Meanwhile, while the Dragons must prevail in Cardiff, Poland are aware that a draw will be enough to retain their status in the top tier.

We say: Wales 1-1 Poland

Wales have a history of rising to the occasion on home territory, experiences which will give them confidence ahead of this contest. However, Robert Lewandowski is not usually in the opposing lineup, and we cannot see the Barcelona man going through this game without scoring an important goal.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Faroe Islands vs. Turkey (Sunday, 7.45pm)

Faroe Islands take on Turkey in Group I of the UEFA Nations League on Sunday, with the visitors looking to retain their unbeaten record in the competition.

The hosts, meanwhile, have avoided relegation to League D, so they can play with plenty of confidence.

We say: Faroe Islands 0-2 Turkey

With Faroe Islands and Turkey guaranteed to finish third and first respectively in Group I regardless of Sunday's result, it is hard to envisage a thriller.

Even if they do make several changes to their starting XI, the visitors should have more than enough quality to remain unbeaten and win the match.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Luxembourg vs. Lithuania (Sunday, 7.45pm)

Luxembourg coach Luc Holtz on March 27, 2021© Reuters

Luxembourg host Lithuania in Group I of the UEFA Nations League on Sunday, with the hosts looking to end the campaign in style.

The visitors, meanwhile, suffered relegation to the competition's bottom tier after failing to beat Faroe Islands on Thursday.

We say: Luxembourg 2-0 Lithuania

Despite conceding late on to Turkey on Thursday, Luxembourg should take plenty of confidence from their recent results and end the Nations League campaign on a high.

Lithuania, on the other hand, will surely welcome the end of it, with relegation at least providing them with an opportunity to win more matches next time around.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.
