Team News: Juan Cuadrado rested by Fiorentina

Fiorentina give Massimo Ambrosini his debut at Genoa tonight as Juan Cuadrado is left out of the starting lineup.

Fiorentina coach Vincenzo Montella has decided not to risk Juan Cuadrado for tonight's trip to Genoa in Serie A.

Cuadrado picked up a knock in Europa League action on Thursday night, with Montella deciding that the Colombian is fit enough only for a place on the bench this evening.

Giuseppe Rossi and Mario Gomez continue in attack for La Viola in a new-look strikeforce, while Massimo Ambrosini makes his debut in central midfield.

Genoa hand a home debut to former Catania playmaker Francesco Lodi tonight, with the attacking midfielder playing just off veteran striker Alberto Gilardino.

Genoa: Perin, Antonelli, Portanova, Sampirisi, Manfredini, Santana, Lodi, Kucka, Biondini, Floro Flores, Gilardino

Fiorentina: Neto, Tomovic, Gonzalo Rodriguez, Compper, Pasqual, Pizarro, Ambrosini, Aquilani, Borja Valero, Rossi, Gomez
