Paulo Sousa: 'Fiorentina can compete with anyone'

Fiorentina manager Paulo Sousa believes that his team know they can compete with anyone as they prepare to face Napoli tomorrow.

Fiorentina manager Paulo Sousa has praised his side's start to the season and revealed that they believe that they can beat anyone.

The Viola take on Napoli on Sunday and Sousa is excited to test himself against a strong side and an experienced manager in Maurizio Sarri.

The Portuguese man told reporters: "To win this game, we will have to control it, we know that Napoli are a team who will be looking to showcase their quality.

"We want to be leaders and remain at the top. I think we have shown a maturity in the matches we have won so far this season.

"Winning brings happiness and that is something we want to keep so we will work on that. We are coming up against a top quality team who are in great form which gives us the opportunity to test ourselves.

"It is a continuous process. Napoli maybe have a stronger squad but we believe we can compete with anyone."

Fiorentina currently sit at the top of the Serie A table after seven games but are just two points ahead of second-placed Inter Milan.
