Fenerbahce are reportedly on the verge of signing Leicester City forward Islam Slimani on loan.
Slimani joined Leicester in 2016 off the back of the club's Premier League title triumph, and he scored eight times in his 29 appearances for the Foxes during the 2016-17 season.
The player managed just one Premier League goal in the first half of last term, however, before sealing a loan move to Newcastle United during the January transfer window.
The 30-year-old failed to score during a disappointing spell with the Magpies, though, and has been strongly linked with a move away from Leicester over the last few weeks.
According to Sky Sports News, Fenerbahce have won the race to sign the former Sporting Lisbon striker, and the deal will go through on Thursday.
Slimani's goalscoring record at Leicester stands at 13 in 47 appearances in all competitions.
