Romelu Lukaku: 'Everton not scared of Cardiff City'

Everton striker Romelu Lukaku says that the team is not scared to face Cardiff City in the Premier League this weekend.

Romelu Lukaku has said that Everton are "not scared" to face a Cardiff City side that are fighting for their place in the Premier League.

The Bluebirds, who travel to Goodison Park this weekend, climbed up to 18th with a win over Fulham last Saturday, but remain in the relegation zone.

The striker told the Toffees' website: "We are hungry, so let them come. They are coming to Goodison and we are not scared of anything.

"They are coming to us, they have a good team and a good up-and-coming manager. But we have to dictate the play and we have the players to do it.

"I don't think we should be scared. Anyone can lose against anyone in the Premier League but when you are at home, with the players and the potential we have, you don't have to be scared. We just have to go and be clinical."

Everton have won their last four home games in the top flight.
