Everton manager Roberto Martinez is hopeful that his team's form in Europe will filter into the Premier League following Thursday night's emphatic win over Young Boys.
Romelu Lukaku netted a hat-trick and Seamus Coleman also contributed to a 4-1 victory over the Swiss side in the first leg of their last-32 clash in the Europa League.
In the domestic league, however, the Merseyside outfit have struggled to go on a run of results, having secured just one victory in their last nine fixtures.
"In Europe this season we've been perfect," Martinez told reporters in this afternoon's press conference. "We've enjoyed our football and been exciting. It's helped young players to learn a lot quickly. It highlights that we need to take that into the domestic form.
"It's been down to little moments in the league, and we've not got our momentum. We've been confident in our play and last night's game will be the final push to enjoy the rest of the season in the league."
Everton are currently 12th in the table.
