Gareth Barry has insisted that he feels welcome in the Everton "family" following his loan switch from Manchester City.
The 32-year-old, who has represented Brighton & Hove Albion, Aston Villa and City during his career, moved to Goodison Park on a temporary deal on deadline day.
"People who I've spoken to who have played for Everton say this is a good family club and you'll enjoy going there, but until you do go in you don't know what to expect, but I do get that feeling," the Liverpool Echo quotes Barry as saying.
"Of the two transfers I've had in my career I've settled here a lot quicker and that's credit to the people around the training ground and around Goodison."
Everton boss Roberto Martinez previously suggested that Barry may remain at the club beyond his loan agreement.
