Agent: Frank de Boer would "love" Everton job

Frank de Boer would "love" to become the next manager of Everton, according to the current Ajax head coach's agent.

The agent of Frank de Boer has revealed that the Ajax head coach would have a keen interest in taking charge of Everton.

There is reportedly to be a change in the dugout at Goodison Park this summer, with Roberto Martinez expected to be relieved of his duties.

A host of names have been linked with the position, including Eddie Howe, Mark Hughes, Quique Flores and David Moyes.

However, Guido Albers has now thrown his client's hat into the ring, with Valencia also an appealing job.

"He would love to join a club like Everton or Valencia," Albers told NOS.

"It's all about the right philosophy and how they play football. That is what Frank is looking for."

De Boer is contracted to Ajax, who spurned the chance to win the Eredivisie title yesterday afternoon, until 2017.
