England 'to play friendlies against Honduras, Ecuador'

A report suggests that England will play their final World Cup warm-up matches against Honduras and Ecuador.

England will reportedly take on Honduras and Ecuador in their final warm-up matches ahead of next summer's World Cup.

The Three Lions will take on Peru in a friendly at Wembley Stadium in May, before heading to North America to play against the other two nations, The Mirror claims.

The latter fixtures will take place at Miami's Sun Life Stadium to coincide with the England team's plans at their training base in Florida.

England have never played against Honduras before, while they knocked Ecuador out of the 2006 World Cup courtesy of a David Beckham free kick in the last-16 phase.

The FA are yet to officially confirm the friendlies.
