England Under-21 head coach Stuart Pearce expects a tough draw for next summer's European Under-21 Championship.

England Under-21 head coach Stuart Pearce has admitted that England have little chance of a kind draw for next summer's European Under-21 Championship.

England will avoid Holland as both teams are seeded second, but will play either defending champions Spain or hosts Israel. Germany and Italy are also potential opponents while Russia and Norway, who were in England's qualifying group, are the other teams in the draw.

"This is our fourth draw and it is possibly the first time we have thought to ourselves that whoever we get is going to be really, really difficult to beat." Pearce said.

"Apart from France, who had a fantastic qualification record, everyone who is considered a strong European nation is here to compete in this."

The draw will take place tomorrow in Tel Aviv.
