Friday's European Championship qualifying predictions including England vs. Malta

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's European Championship qualifying fixtures, including England vs. Malta.

Kazakhstan vs. San Marino (Friday, 3.00pm)

Kazakhstan play host to San Marino on Friday looking to keep in the hunt for a top-two spot in their Euro 2024 qualification group.

At a time when the home side sit four points adrift of both Slovenia and Denmark in Group H, San Marino are bottom, albeit with a rare goal having now been scored.

We say: Kazakhstan 4-0 San Marino

Although San Marino will play with a sense of freedom now that they have finally found the back of the net, this should be one-way traffic in the home side's favour. With goal difference still having the potential to play its part, expect a ruthless showing from Kazakhstan.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.

Finland vs. N. Ireland (Friday, 5.00pm)

Finland square off against Northern Ireland on Friday knowing that they are already out of reach of a top-two spot in Group H.

While the home side are already assured of a playoff place through their UEFA Nations League performances, Northern Ireland have been eliminated from Euro 2024 qualifying.

We say: Finland 3-1 Northern Ireland

O'Neil will be demanding that his players finally get over the line against opposition who they will not consider to be of any added quality to themselves. Nevertheless, we cannot back against Finland on home territory, leading us to predict a fairly comfortable win courtesy of goals during the final quarter.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Moldova vs. Albania (Friday, 5.00pm)

Albania can seal their place at a second-ever major tournament with just a point away in Moldova in Euro 2024 qualifying on Friday.

Group E remains devilishly tight through, and a win for the hosts would blow the group wide open heading into the final matchday.

We say: Moldova 0-2 Albania

While there is a chance Moldova could spring another surprise to leave both theirs and Albania's chance hanging in the balance, they will find it tough against the group's standout side.

Albania have been imperious since losing their opening qualifier and should have minimal trouble in sealing their spot at next summer's finals here.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

England vs. Malta (Friday, 7.45pm)

England's final home game of a near-impeccable Euro 2024 qualifying campaign sees the Three Lions host minnows Malta at Wembley in Friday's Group C battle.

While the Three Lions are already guaranteed to finish top of the section, Gareth Southgate's side are still out to achieve maximum points this month in the hope of entering Pot 1 for the group-stage draw.

We say: England 5-0 Malta

Whether Southgate opts to go full strength or deploy a much-changed XI for the visit of Malta, there should only be one outcome on Friday night, as England further their Pot 1 ambitions with a comprehensive thrashing.

With Teuma and Jones back in the fold, Maltese fans may possess a glimmer of optimism about their side's chances of breaching a ravaged England defence, but they should soon be subjected to a rude awakening.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 3.5 goals.

Italy vs. N. Macedonia (Friday, 7.45pm)

Ahead of a winner-takes-all clash with Ukraine in their final Euro 2024 qualifier, Italy seek to sneak into the top two of the Group C rankings during the visit of North Macedonia to Stadio Olimpico on Friday.

In contrast, the visitors have been eliminated from Finals contention, although they could still inflict another dose of despair on the Azzurri following their historic World Cup playoff triumph.

We say: Italy 2-0 North Macedonia

Proving to be one of Italy's bogey teams down the years, North Macedonia have never failed to score against their more esteemed counterparts and should play with the shackles off on Friday, having already been condemned to their fate.

However, the Lynxes' luck against the Euro 2020 holders is sure to run out soon, and with the Olimpico crowd behind them, we can only picture the Azzurri coming up trumps, thus giving themselves a crucial injection of confidence ahead of Monday's crunch clash with the Ukrainians.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Poland vs. Czech Republic (Friday, 7.45pm)

Poland's Karol Swiderski celebrates scoring their first goal with Przemyslaw Frankowski and teammates on March 27, 2023© Reuters

Poland welcome Czech Republic to Warsaw for a crucial Euro 2024 qualifier in Group E on Friday.

The hosts must win to have any chance of progression in what is their final group game, while the Czechs can seal qualification if they win and Moldova drop points against Albania.

We say: Poland 1-2 Czech Republic

A defeat here for the Czechs would make their final qualifier against Moldova an incredibly nervy encounter, so Silhavy will be desperate to see his side get a result here.

Poland have to go all out for the win, but they have been hapless all through the campaign, and their chances may end here, while the visitors will be hoping for a huge favour from Albania.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Denmark vs. Slovenia (Friday, 7.45pm)

Denmark coach Kasper Hjulmand celebrates after the match on September 10, 2023© Reuters

Denmark and Slovenia square off on Friday knowing that the winner of this contest will secure automatic qualification for Euro 2024 with a game to spare.

However, with a four-point gap ahead of third-placed Kazakhstan in Group H, these two nations effectively get two bites of the cherry to earn a spot at next year's tournament.

We say: Denmark 2-1 Slovenia

Denmark have been far from convincing throughout this qualification campaign, as shown during the fixture with San Marino. Nevertheless, home advantage could prove key on Friday, leading us to predict a hard-fought victory over their group rivals.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.
