Eintracht Frankfurt striker Joselu has credited the club's fans for their support during his side's 2-2 draw away to Porto in the first leg of the Europa League last 32.
Joselu scored his side's first in the second half before an own goal from Alex Sandro put the German side in with a good chance of qualification, and the player said that even at 2-0 down the team were confident.
"We always knew this would be a difficult match on paper," he told UEFA.com. "Porto are an enormous club and a really great team, but we stood up to them and never let our heads drop, and we finished with a result that will do us good for the return leg.
"We have great support and everyone thinks the match we played was thanks to them. They're always behind us wherever we go to and they really deserve this as well."
Frankfurt took 12,000 fans to their final away game in the group stage at Bordeaux.
