Crystal Palace want to sign Paul Dummett?

Crystal Palace are hoping to sign Newcastle United defender Paul Dummett, according to a report.

Crystal Palace are reportedly keen to sign Newcastle United defender Paul Dummett on deadline day.

The 23-year-old, who is thought to be valued at £8m, has not featured for the Magpies so far this season.

Palace boss Alan Pardew is thought to be an admirer of the Wales international, having handed him his Newcastle debut in January 2013.

According to Chronicle Live, Palace are looking to sign Dummett but might not be able to finalise a deal before the transfer window closes.

Dummett, who has made 51 appearances for Newcastle, has two years remaining on his current contract.
