The agent of Crystal Palace forward Christian Benteke has revealed that the Belgian is attracting significant interest from across the globe - including clubs in England.
The former Liverpool and Aston Villa man has historically struggled for goals at Selhurst Park, but Benteke has seen his fortunes improve in recent weeks.
Indeed, the 30-year-old has struck three times in his last three top-flight appearances for Roy Hodgson's side, and Benteke's agent Kismet Eris has claimed that several clubs are keeping tabs on the forward.
Speaking to Het Nieuwsblad, Eris said: "Staying is not excluded, but there is also interest from other clubs from England, Italy and Spain.
"Did Christian have a bad period? Yes, certainly. But if you analyse the last three years, it hasn't always been bad. It is also no coincidence that none of the club's other strikers score a lot.
"In a way, Christian's biggest problem is his good upbringing. He's never going to be in trouble if he doesn't play. But if a problem does not exist, the trainer will not just solve it.
"Fortunately, he is mentally strong. He could leave, but did not want to leave, because he still had something to prove."
Benteke is about to enter the final six months of his Palace deal, and the striker will be free to negotiate with other clubs from January.
