Crystal Palace 1-1 Brighton & Hove Albion

A penalty at either end sees Crystal Palace and Brighton play out a 1-1 draw at Selhurst Park.

It was a tale of two penalties as Crystal Palace and Brighton shared the spoils at Selhurst Park tonight.

Sought-after youngster Wilfred Zaha was the architect behind Palace's spot kick when he was brought down in the box following a jinking run.

Norwich City loanee Chris Martin stepped up to convert the penalty shortly after the hour mark.

However, the Eagles lead did not last long as referee Stuart Atwell pointed to the spot for a second time when Seagull's midfielder Will Buckley was fouled in the area.

Ashley Barnes successfully netted from 12 yards to level the scores and earn Gus Poyet's side a point.

Palace continue their Championship campaign when they travel to Middlesbrough on Saturday while Brighton host Leicester City.
