Corinthians midfielder Paulinho has suggested that he could complete a move to Inter Milan next year.
The 24-year-old was strongly linked with the Italian club in the summer, but opted to remain in Brazil in order to continue his footballing education.
"Over the summer, Inter were the only club that came to Sao Paulo and put a concrete offer to me," Paulinho told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
"But I wasn't ready to leave my home and go to Europe, so I chose to stay. I also felt I owed a debt to Corinthians, as we had just won the Copa Libertadores. I hope Inter understood.
"Inter are Inter, though, and they have been a starting point for many Brazilians. One day I will go. After the Club World Cup I will decide on my future and if Inter come calling again, we'll talk."
Paulinho has five Brazilian caps to his name.
